Rescue Diver

You use all your basic scuba gear including a dive computer and accessories. 

Come into Goose's Scuba Shack for any rental equipment that you may need for this course.

 The Learning Materials You Need 

 Come into Goose's Scuba for the Rescue Diver Crewpak.  It will have all the materials that you need for becoming a PADI Rescue Diver.  Included within is the Rescue Diver Manual, Rescue Diver DVD, Pocket Mask and a Surface Safety Device (Safety Sausage).  Also, you are able to enroll for the PADI Rescue Diver eLearning.  Through eLearning you are able to take all the knowledge portions of the Rescue Diver course at home.

 

 



No matter which method of instruction you choose, the physical training of the PADI Rescue Diver course is where all your skills will be honed.

Goose's Scuba Shack has this product and is always looking to set up classes for you.

 

Prerequisites 

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must:

Be 12 years or older
Have a PADI Adventure or Advanced Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another recognized organization)
Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years (you can ask Goose's Scuba about Emergency First Response, CPR and first aid courses).

Your Next Adventure

After completing CPR and first aid and taking the PADI Rescue Diver course, you should take the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course.  Together these three courses round out your ability to handle scuba diver emergencies.
